TERRA LUNA is the kind of film I've wanted to work on my entire career. I started learning VFX during the pandemic, and after nine months of technical experimentation, we were able to create this short film using Unreal Engine 5 for both pre and post-production. Pre-visualization done in UE5 gave our team the ability to match volumetric lighting on set as we shot in a green screen studio, and the camera tools available in engine allowed me to experiment with lens choices and framing. What we were able to achieve in this film would not have been possible even five years ago. As exciting as it was to make this film, I'm even more excited to share it with you.
